It was a hot summer day, I was thinking of what to do for
the day, and then I remembered to hangout on my favorite spot along the hills
near the cliffs. I went there to unwind and enjoy the fresh air on the cliffs;
the breeze was so smooth I can fell asleep lying on the grass. I closed my eyes
to feel everything around me when I felt someone was around, I sat up to check
it out and then I saw a little boy hiding in the bushes.
I walked closer towards to the boy and asked him “What are
you doing here little boy?” I said, He didn’t respond so I asked him again “Are
you lost?” for a brief silence “…Yes” he finally said, the boy was cute but
there was something in his eyes, that I can’t figure out so I continued on
asking him about some things, I’ve known that he was looking for something when
he came across me, perhaps his lost toy I guessed.
As we walk towards the path heading back to the town he run
and shouted something I couldn’t understand and picked up a weird looking metal
on his hands then he immediately came back to me and said “Thank you for
accompanying me, I thought humans are just a bunch of imbeciles and vain but I
guessed they were others who are really clever and benevolent on your races,
the lucky ones. Ealavaseile, Goodbye,
I hope to see you again. ”
I was so surprised he dug the thing on a tree near us and it
lit up and a portal opened, he closed his eyes and opened it, it lit up as he
was getting sucked in the portal and zap! It closed, he was gone. I was left
speechless.
